“Sabor y Amor”

" Cocina cosmopolita afrancesada llena de matices exóticos"

The restaurant “La Casa De Leo” is located in the heart of Alicante, Spain, near the historic Mediterranean port. Alicante is home to many historical civil and religious buildings, all of which reveal a past that has been decidedly marked by the history and proximity of the Mediterranean Sea.

The aim of the project was to preserve the aesthetic historic value of the building, while to promote sustainable solutions in terms of longevity and energy efficiency. Connect the history with the future, by promoting the cosmopolitan character of the building's use.

Active Cool paint, grey colored, was the first option for the restoration and the preservation of building’s exterior wall. The mineral look of the paint, in combination with the high solar reflective and photocatalytic performance, guarantees a long lasting preservation of the aesthetic look and an improved energy footprint.

The titled roof of the building was painted with Cool Barrier Optimum White a paint with extreme durability, tough, yet flexible, which is ideal for the protection of weathered ceramic roofing tiles.
